At MENASA Student Resources, we have several paid scholar staff positions for undergraduate students, including two Community Organizers, one Outreach Coordinator, and one Social Media Coordinator. As Scholar Staff, you will get hands-on experience in organizing campus events and building community for fellow undergraduate students by working alongside the team.

Student Staff Positions
Community Organizer
The responsibilities of the community organizer will be threefold:
Community Engagement
- Regularly be available for students, or student organizations to check in
- To connect with the greater MENASA community on academic, social, and mental wellness issues
- Assist with engaging and connecting with Registered Student Organizations
Community Education + Advocacy
- Create “passive” programs in the form of informational Instagram campaigns to educate or engage viewers on various issues
- Co-create informational presentations with career staff that speak on various topics and themes pertaining to the MENASA community
- Advocate for various student needs and identify common issues members in the community face
Program Management
- Plan and Facilitate weekly programs and act as peer advisers (Chai Chats)
- Cross collaborate with campus departments and plan with career staff major programs (stand alone events, social media programs, fall welcome, decision day outreach events, MENASA Community Graduation)
- Work on quarterly projects to establish greater visibility
Outreach Coordinator
The responsibilities of this position are:
Outreach & Community Engagement
- Create outreach activities related to events and step in to support the collective efforts of the unit
- Will be responsible for Aggie Day welcome events hosted by the unit
- Support and outreach to the MENASA Living Learning Community
- Host tabling and informational sessions & presentations
- Hold drop in office hours for students, student organizations, and departments
- Assist with engaging and connecting with Registered Student Organizations
- Co-create informational presentations with the director that speak on various topics and themes pertaining to the MENASA community
- Quarterly report on task completion
Social Media Coordinator
The responsibilities of this position are:
Social Media Engagement
- Update and maintain a calendar of events
- Create and maintain weekly online newsletter for MENASA student community
- Maintain social media and event pages to reflect accurate information
- Track social media engagement
- Quarterly review of website to ensure accurate information is presented
- Additional tasks may be assigned related to memory keeping and creation of communication templates
