MENASA Mentorship & Volunteer Program
As a MENASA MVP, you will get hands-on experience in organizing campus events and building community for fellow undergraduate students by working alongside our Community Organizers, Outreach Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator. Sign up if you'd like to:
- Develop the skills and knowledge around working in a cultural center.
- Get mentorship with your resume, cover letter, and practice interviewing skills for jobs or internships
- Assist in planning campus wide events
- Receive transcript notation for your volunteer hours
The ICC requires a minimum of 40 hours total (4 hours per week) to receive Transcript Notation. While the minimum requirement is 4 hours per week you are more than welcome to volunteer more hours. Here are some options on how to fulfill these hours:
- Regular volunteer hours including weekly meetings with your mentor, outreach events, personal development workshops, shadowing, producing work, general event help and attendance, and MENASA Graduation Committee
- Orientation
- Mid-Quarter Check-In
- Final Wrap-Up
