Shaima Arifi

Shaima Arifi serves as an Economic Empowerment Peer Educator in the MENASA Resource Center within Student Affairs. As a student, Shaima has worked in a range of initiatives supporting student mentorship, academic success, campus engagement, and access to resources through her experiences as a mentor, tutor, and Orientation Leader. As an Economic Empowerment Peer Educator, Shaima’s current responsibilities include supporting financial literacy and economic opportunity programming, student outreach and resource navigation, and the development of educational resources. She is excited about building meaningful connections with students, increasing awareness of available resources, and contributing to student success.
